Inspect actual unpaid HTTP 402
Two fixed live merchant endpoints returned x402 challenges. The app checked chain ID, price, real Circle USDC contract, recipient address, canonical header and EIP-712 token metadata.
CashGate makes two real Agent-Native tools work in one review interface: inspect an unsigned x402 payment challenge, then independently validate a public Circle USDC receipt. The demo captures actual Chrome interactions, without a connection, approval, purchase or transfer.
Recorded in an isolated VM3 Chrome session from the real Agent-Native React UI, not a mockup or fabricated transaction sequence. The original application ran on the VM3 loopback development server; it is not claimed to be permanently publicly hosted. English captions describe the visible steps. The video does not use an account, wallet extension, private key or paid settlement.
The React controls call the same bounded Agent-Native defineAction() tools that an authorized agent can invoke. There is no purchase API, external arbitrary URL entry or wallet signature route.
Two fixed live merchant endpoints returned x402 challenges. The app checked chain ID, price, real Circle USDC contract, recipient address, canonical header and EIP-712 token metadata.
A pre-existing Base transaction was read by public hash. The app verified the USDC Transfer event, log index 90, recipient, success and canonical block, showing the actual 0.010000 USDC transfer.
No wallet connection, gas, spending or secrets. A valid transfer does not establish the payer's identity, which API was bought, job acceptance or the seller's net profit.
The same single-owner merchant runs the original, independently available fixed-route x402 APIs. Each link opens an unsigned HTTP 402 quote and does not spend funds. Any buyer must separately and voluntarily authorize payment in their own payment client.

Existing VM5 merchant APIs and historical payments predate this demo and are explicitly disclosed.
Original application repository: cashgate-x402-defi-evidence. The live app was executed locally on VM3 for verification; only this recording, source, merchant APIs and provenance are public. There is no claim of a hosted authenticated production app, a formal audit, a hackathon submission or a cash prize.
